The sentida 7-i connect, which uses digital technology to provide lasting relief for care, has not only convinced numerous customers but also the jury of the world's oldest design award. In particular, the option of transferring weight and vital data directly from the bed to the nursing documentation convinced the jurors.

The Good Design Award is the oldest design prize in the world. For more than seven decades, the Chicago Athenaeum has presented this globally coveted award for innovative design, new technologies, form, material, function, utility and energy efficiency.

Every year, designers and manufacturers in around 50 nations are honoured for unique design. In the 70 years of its existence, the award has been presented to the most diverse products: From paper clips to the Boeing 787 Dreamliner to a NASA spacecraft.

Time saving for care facilities

sentida 7-i connect is the answer to the much discussed nursing crisis. The intelligent nursing bed provides nursing facilities with reliable solutions to relieve their nursing staff, such as the new nursing documentation tool directly at the bed.

Entering and transferring data at the CareBoard saves many notes and trips to the PC and thus helps to gain valuable care time of up to 5 minutes per resident. The same applies to the integrated bed scale, which saves up to 15 minutes compared to transferring the patient to a wheelchair with subsequent transport to the scale.

The new digital functions therefore not only relieve the burden on nursing care, but also contribute to greater efficiency in nursing facilities. They use the highest safety standards and save valuable care time to the benefit of the residents.
